@mrksmt9 Could you please check what folders are inside your ForgottenPuzzles folder? and what UE version you using for your project?
Have you seen Hosna’s video? If not, you just need to copy the ForgottenPuzzles folder from the Content folder and it works!
If you get the Power Puzzle wrong or pull out the player wonders off all over the place and only resets if your able to go through the jump back to the lobby area. This also happened when i got the Picture wrong too (this is all within your Demo) I have seen this before in the demo.
@mrksmt9 He Mark, The Power Puzzle is designed as a faithful recreation of the one from Resident Evil 2 original. Each time a mistake happens, the puzzle can be retried after finishing the interaction. Reference Video
The Painting Puzzle is also based on Resident Evil Code Veronica. In this case, the reset happens when interacting with the main painting again after realizing the order is incorrect. Reference Video
If there are any additional reset behaviors in the original games that we may have missed, please let me know. We’d be happy to review them and consider implementing improvements in a future update.
@farshad I dont think you get me this is an error where the player glitches out and you loss control of theem as they randomly move around.
I think on the Power Puzzle you missed out the most important thing which was the meter at the top, as it feels a missed part of what visually makes you understamd what you need to do. So i wouldnt say faithful recration, so yes a real missed oppertunity their i think?
The meter is actually implemented and updates based on the puzzle state. Each time you set the switch up, the voltage increases by 36 units; each time you set it down, it decreases by 14 units.
If possible, could you please clarify which part feels off or is not working as expected? If you’re referring to a specific behavior or interaction, let me know. I'd be happy to review it
@farshad I just think a little more detail should have been in it A - The meter gauge showing you where you are in the puzzle and B - Lighting up the icon so can see its been completed
Hello, I’m getting back to you to report a small issue—not a major one. Basically, when trying to solve one of the puzzles (in my case, the power control), it’s possible to open the inventory, and the text also appears inside it. To remove it, you have to validate the sentence again and then press the inventory key once more.

Yes, Mark, we’re aware of this issue and it’s currently under investigation. It will be addressed with a quick fix in an upcoming update, so no worries.
@mrksmt9 Hey Mark, A new update has been applied to Forgotten Puzzles that fixes this minor issue. Please download the latest version.

@auron Please download the latest update and test it again.
That said, if you still encounter any conflicts, you can use a boolean variable (e.g., IsSolvingPuzzle) in character logic to determine whether the player is currently interacting with a puzzle. If true, you can temporarily disable player input. However, the latest update should already resolve the issue on its own. Please test it and let me know if you run into any further problems.
Alright, thanks! I’ll get back to you if I encounter any other issues or anything else. Anyway, thanks for your responsiveness 🙂
