@g-stathischaropoulos Thank you! Glad you like the new direction! And welcome to the forum 😊 really appreciate your feedback!
Hello. I purchased Modern Survival Horror Framework. It's fantastic.
1- I have a request regarding the language; I would appreciate it if you could add Arabic.
2-Weapon aiming system. Could you please add a feature to switch weapons between the right and left shoulders? I'm left-handed and tend to focus on the left.
3- Adding a manual shotgun.I tried adding and modifying the shotgun, but I couldn't. Can you add a manual shotgun?
Thank you. 😊 😊 💕.
@dark-d3sert Hello and welcome to the community forum 😊
Thank you so much for purchasing Modern Survival Horror Framework and for your great feedback!
Your suggestions are really good....We’re also considering adding a proper localization system in the future, and Arabic would definitely be one of the languages we’d consider... We receive quite a lot of feature requests, so we’re continuously evaluating them and prioritizing what we can add to future updates. I’ve added your suggestions to that list as well.
The framework is actively being developed, and we’re continuously working on improving it ... If you’d like to support us even further, we’d really appreciate it if you could leave a review on the product page in the Fab Store and share your experience.
Thanks again for your support! 🙏
@g-uncleray The v0.6 update isn’t finalized yet, as we’re still making changes and testing the weapons and systems... So I can’t confirm exactly what they are just yet.
After the v0.5 update... keep an eye out for the announcement about v0.6. We’ll share more details about new features there in the dedicated thread!
@g-uncleray The Interaction Cutscene Player is currently under development, and we hope to have it ready for V0.5. If not, it may be moved to V0.6. So far, nothing has been confirmed yet.
@g-uncleray Yes, we are aware of this... While motion matching is very appealing and provides a smooth experience, it can also be somewhat challenging for some indie developers. We are currently looking into adding an alternative mode that uses a blend space, allowing developers to choose whichever approach works best for their project... If we decide to move forward with it, we’re aiming to have it available before version 1.0.
Hello! What improvements will the FPS mode have in version 0.5? Sorry for my impatience, but I check every day to see if you've released any new videos.
@fabio Hey Fabio, No worries, I completely understand! 😊
For v0.5, the FPS Mode has received a few improvements ... A completely new flashlight system has been added to First Person, and the weapon holding and aiming animations have been redesigned from a more Call of Duty-style approach to a more Survival Horror style. I showcased both of these features in a video in this post — have you had a chance to see it? 😊
Another change is that the character skeleton has been upgraded from the UE4 Skeleton to the UE5 Skeleton. The same change has been applied to the zombies as well, so the framework no longer uses the UE4 Skeleton anywhere.
Crouching has also been added to First Person Mode. We also removed the separate meshes previously used for different purposes, First Person now uses a single character mesh for both the arms and the player's shadow.
There are also several general improvements that benefit both First Person and Third Person, including improved interactions with drawers and weapon lockers, improved key-based door interactions, options menu, and other usability improvements... The First Person Mode will also continue to receive further improvements in future updates as we keep expanding the framework.
Introducing the brand-new Settings & Options system in v0.5!

Players can fully rebind both Keyboard & Mouse and Gamepad controls directly from the Options menu. This system also includes multiple presets support such as Type A and Type B, inspired by popular survival horror games like Resident Evil 2 and 3 remake and Silent Hill 2 remake. developers will be able to add more types as well.

All settings and key bindings are fully integrated with the Save System, ensuring player preferences are automatically saved and restored across play sessions.
Thank you very much for the update and for taking the time to answer my question! I really appreciate all the work and dedication you are putting into the framework.
I'm really excited about the new additions and improvements, especially the FPS updates. It's great to see the framework continuously evolving.
