hey guys

so maybe this is already in the frame work but i was wondering if there is a way to make the cutscenes play in sequence i have a few things i want to happen in a single area but i need the cutscenes to play in an order i am still learning this and i need a little help

for example i need the player to speak to an old man first then he goes back outside past a guy that was standing there when u went in and this guy also has a cutscene attached to him but i need the old mans one to play first after this u get in the truck and drive away another cutscene

regards

Hi, do you want the cutscenes/sequences to play one after the other. so it is a continuous cutscene? If so, you can just play them one after the other in the Blueprint.

If you want gameplay between them, one thing you can do is make another sequence that just moved a trigger volume into position. E.g cutscene 1 finishes, trigger volume sequence plays and moves in to place, player walks into trigger volume during gameplay, cutscene 2 then triggers. This way cutscene 2 wont play until 1 has finished and the trigger volume is moved in to place

@chris Hey, thanks for your question. Ben explained it very well. You can use the cutscene player within the framework and trigger each cutscene wherever you need by placing the triggers in the appropriate locations, just as Ben mentioned.

If you still run into any issues, we’ll be happy to help.
