Hello! I've been fiddling around, trying to convert this Framework into a two-player online co-op experience. A lot of things need to be changed, from replicating the various BPs and variables to the server, to changing every ''get controller'' at index 0. There's still plenty of work for me to do, and it gets overwhelming at times.
I'm looking for insight from those who have done this before, or from those who have a greater comprehension of the whole framework!
My questions go as follows:
- First of all, is it worth my time? Would the conversion of this framework to 2 players coop be a waste of time, considering that the work would be too colossal, or simply due to limitations in the way the framework is built?
- And if it IS doable, what would be a ''quick checklist'' of the things that would need to be changed in order to convert this successfully?
- Do you have any tips or suggestions for me in order to achieve this?
Thanks a lot for your time! Cheers!

Hello and welcome to the forum!
Thanks a lot for your interest in the framework.
Just to clarify, the framework was designed from the ground up as a single-player experience. It’s heavily based on AAA survival horror titles like RE2 and 3 Remake, Silent Hill 2 Remake and other AAA single-player survival horror titles, so multiplayer systems and replication were not part of the original architecture.
Because of that, converting it into a fully networked co-op experience would require significant changes across many core systems, since a lot of gameplay logic assumes a single-player setup.
At the moment, the framework is focused on single-player gameplay and does not include multiplayer support.
Good luck with your project, and feel free to ask if you have other questions!
