Starting with Update 0.4, the framework will officially support Unreal Engine 5.6 and newer.
Due to major API and animation system changes introduced by Epic Games, especially regarding Motion Matching, continuing support for UE5.5 is no longer practical for future development.
This change allows the framework to fully embrace newer Unreal Engine technologies, including improved Motion Matching workflows, UE5 Skeleton support, MetaHuman compatibility, and future animation system improvements without legacy limitations.
Developers currently working on UE5.5 will need to download UE5.6 or later to use Update 0.4 and all future framework updates.
The final UE5.5-compatible version will no longer be available directly on Fab after Update 0.4. However, developers who still need the UE5.5 version can contact us directly, and we will provide access to the UE5.5 version for V0.4 only.
That said, we strongly recommend using Unreal Engine 5.6 or newer in order to fully benefit from all new framework features, future improvements, and upcoming animation systems.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
